Melissa is a doctoral candidate in library and information science at Illinois, conducts research on practices and problems in the long-term management of digital data as part of the Scientific Communication Initiative; she is the coordinator for the Data Curation Education Program that is developing a new concentration within the master’s degree program at GSLIS.
