Kevin is the Assistant Director of the Center for Informatics Research in Science and Scholarship at GSLIS. In addition to having management responsibilities within the research center, he is also actively involved in research projects. Kevin is currently the project coordinator for three CIRSS projects.  These include the Data Curation Education Program for the Humanities, the Open Annotation Project, and the Data Conservancy.

He has also been teaching at GSLIS since Summer 2008 and is teaching Systems Analysis and Management for the second time this Fall.

Before joining GSLIS, he was the founder and president of Ligent, a consulting and training firm specializing in Topic Maps technology. He has presented Topic Maps tutorials at XML 2005, Extreme Markup Languages 2006, TMRA 2006, TMRA 2007, Topicmaps 2007, and Topicmaps 2008.

Kevin holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and has an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BA in Philosophy from Rutgers University.
